Trying is Lying

You Liar, you!

The saying of my life, “Trying is Lying!” Probably heard that every time I told my father, “I am trying Dad, really I am trying hard.” Same response from my Dad every time, “James, trying is lying.” Sounds kind of rough right? Actually, I never saw it as rough, but more of a guideline for life. Think about it for a second……

Okay, second is up. The deal is this if you’re trying you aren’t doing it. Trying is an excuse in life and people can get away with it. Now if you’re doing, then you are making something happen. You could even be doing it the wrong way, but you are doing it no matter what. Trying just means you are giving 50-75% of your heart into it. Doing it means you are giving it your all!

It’s a very hard trick to learn, going from the trying to the doing. The motto in it’s self can annoy people and it’s not for everyone to understand. Though think about it, how many times have you responded with I am trying, I am trying my hardest to get this done or it to be perfect. Then you just try and it comes out okay. Why not next time you have to say try change it to, “I am doing my best and I am going to get it done perfectly.” Yes that breaks away the excuse of trying to get it done and now puts you in the drives seat to get it done right!

Trying is Lying is the motto to break to help break you of excuses. This is the essence of this message this afternoon. No more excuses, if your trying your just lying to yourself and all us. Just do it from now on and see how the results come out.

This is a major step into this Savage World, that you are not just living in, but beginning to own!
