Baby Steps

One step at a time...

One step at a time is what they always say. Take the baby steps to reach your goal. Never take the giant leap to the finish line, because you won’t win. The baby steps in life are very important in this world.

In this fast pace world that we live in, everyone wants to get results and get them now! Sometimes results need to wait and can’t be rushed.

Perfect example of this is working out. Say you weigh 200 pounds and want to drop down to 160 pounds. Now honestly you can’t do that in a short time frame, unless you decide to cut off your left leg or get surgery done.  You need to take the time to make a plan and stick to it. Slowly you will reach your goal, but when you do it will be life lasting. The reason because you did it right and took the time to change your habits.

This goes in everyday life and how you go through your days. The boss gives you a big project and you are eager to prove to them that you can do it!  You need to slow down and take the right baby steps to make sure it turns out perfectly. We get so caught up in being rushed by our bosses and peers, that we just rush through the process. In the end it truly shows in our end product.

Bosses are to blame at this at times also. If you are a bosses and you pressure your employee to rush through the work without taking the right steps, you are to blame mostly. This maybe you, if it is try to relax and remember to trust your employees to get it done in the right amount of time to get it done right.

I am not saying taking the longest amount of time to do your work, just slow down and do it right. Shortcuts usually lead to pitfalls and trouble in the long run. Advice to do this is to sit down, plan it out, focus, and go through the process step by step. In the end your product will be done in the perfect amount of time with amazing results.

Slowing down and taking baby steps is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
