The Small Things

It's just the little things....

In today’s fast paced world we forget to do the little things. We usually are so busy and rushed to care for what’s not important. Sometimes we just get stuck in our own life to stop caring for others in our lives.

This thought came to me today as I was out driving. Yea it was a little nasty out and people of course were in a hurry at rush hour. It was the little things some of these people forgot that made costly mistakes.

For example, a person who was in such a hurry was weaving in and out of traffic like a mad man. This guy was in such a hurry, he didn’t care if he cut two or three people off or if he ran the stop light. He was in such a hurry and caught up in his own life to notice the others around them. In the end when he ran the red light, a cop was behind him and got him. His hurry equaled probably a big time sink with a giant Christmas present in a form of a ticket.

This happens outside of traffic and in our real life with friends and family. Sometimes we get caught up in work and everything else, that we forget the small things.  We don’t take the time out of our lives to cross the T’s and dot our I’s. It’s time to slow down a bit and just remember take your time with everything.

Taking your time in life and doing the small things adds up. To learn to slow down and do the details you will be better off. Not just in work, but in business to.

Noticing the small thing is a key tool in this Savage World; that you are no longer leaving, but beginning to own!

I totally agree with James. You are not as busy as “you” think you are.

Slow down, call your mother and tell some one you love her.
