Dealing with Butterflies

Pretty Butterflies

The butterflies, we all get them, no matter who or what you are, you always get them. No, I am not talking about the pretty little bugs that fly around that we all agree are cute.  Today, we are talking about what happens when you have to do something that makes you nervous.

For starters, most people hate to speak in public. The thought of stage can scare the bravest man/woman.  It’s a hard thing to do when the spot light is only on you and the microphone in your hand.

The only way to really beat the stage fright/butterflies, is to just do it. No matter how scary it is, you just got to do it. Also do it as often as you can, the more you do it the less butterflies you get.  It’s hard at first, but in time becomes easier.

If you can beat the butterflies and make it on stage you accomplish something big. After it is all said and done then you can be proud of yourself for going through with it. Many people quit when they get butterflies. This to me is sad, it’s giving up because you get nervous. Remember, if you mess up no one really will know but you.

Many times we get the butterflies not just for being on stage, but for major events that may change our lives.  They are scary, but you just got to take that deep breath and just do it. Don’t let them win, you can do whatever you set your mind to. Those butterflies inside your stomach aren’t cute and sweet. Though they are helpful, use them as the courage to break free and do it!

Beating the butterflies is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
