Getting Ready for Valentine’s Day

Cute, isn't it!?

That’s right folks, it’s that time of year when we show the person we love our undying love for them by spending tons of money.  It truly is a beautiful day for our wallets and the relationship you are in.

Now, I hear you single people who are screaming this day STINKS! It’s horrible and gross! Makes you feel alone and sad, because couples are so happy and you’re alone. Honestly, that makes sense and though I never felt that way, I can understand where people hate Valentine’s Day because of factors.

We now have two types of people on V-day to discuss today, the lovers and the single people out there. The focus is not to bring anyone down, but to help grasp how to make it through this beautiful day.

Couples, lets start with you! Really, you are the tricky ones with so many different stages in relationships. First off is the new couples, who find this day so exciting because, now they express their new love or liking to the other. Usually this is the biggest Valentine’s Day you will have with them, so go all out get roses, presents, and take em to a great date night!

Now you got the long-term couples which are the ones that been together for a long time, engaged, married, etc. This is still a very important day to remind them that the flame is still stronger than ever. Do go all out, let them know how much you care. Even if they say, no don’t get me that, go out and get it show em they deserve it!

Finally single people who lasted this long into this article, first off thanks for going through the stuff you hate. Now, let’s get down to business with you being single on Valentine’s Day. It sucks, right? But why, can I ask?  Because everyone else seems to have someone and celebrating their love? Sounds more like you are jealous of what they have.

It’s okay to have those feelings, as a species it’s hard for us to be alone. Don’t make it an issue though, enjoy the fact that all these couples are happy and enjoying the day. Besides so can you! Think about it, there are tons of single people out there and Valentine’s Day is a great time to go out and meet someone. You want to have a date on this day, go to a mixer, bar, coffee-house and get off your seat and meet a new person that is cute to you. Doesn’t matter if your male or female, anyone can approach anyone who they think is cute to spark a conversation! Trust me.

Single people, I know it’s hard but it’s just another day. Go out with all your single friends and own the night! Enjoy it, don’t sit and cry about not having one, because really, you won’t find what you are looking for doing that. Only way to get what you want is to do it yourself!

Enjoying Valentine’s Day is good for the heart in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
