Loving the Rainy Days

Most people complain and blame their mood on the weather. Yes the rain usually means cold, dreary weather, that no one really wants to deal with. Though, usually for myself, I love to embrace the rain. After walking the dogs in this weather, I thought this would be the best topic for all of us today.

The rain is a symbol to a lot of people of bad moods. Ever sit in your office, class room, or home and notice how people change with the weather? Usually when it’s sunny and nice out, they are happy. If it’s to hot, they become moody. Now if it rains and gets a little colder, people just seem to sink into a small state of depression.

Such an easy excuse to blame the weather for most of your problems. Milli-Vanilli said it right, “Got to blame it on something, so blame it on the rain.” The problem here is we shouldn’t use excuses to get down in the dumps. All it does is give us an excuse to be sad and able to bring a negative attitude where you go.

The true thing people need to do is relax and move on from what the weather is outside.  Enjoy the rainy days, they bring water to this barren Earth. By bringing water it allows our plants and grass to grow. Also it fills our water ways, which for the most part is good for our fish friends.

So many joys come from rain. Have you ever taken a walk in the rain with a loved one or a friend? It’s fun if you think about. Yea all your clothes get wet, plus your hair, etc. But, the experience is great and somewhat freeing.

Also after every rain storm there is somewhere a giant rainbow peeking out. Just like life, even if it’s raining in your head, soon enough you can count on the rainbow to come out to make it all worth wide.

Loving these rainy days is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
