Refreshing the Brain Stream

It will be okay...

Here at the Savage Syndications we are always hard at work. Usually we just go from 8:00 AM to 5:00/6:00 PM without stopping. Do we take bathroom breaks? Sure we do. Do we take a lunch? If it counts sitting at your desk and eating between calls? They yes, we do. (The partners of the company that is)

The problem with running your own business, is the joy of rarely getting a time to relax. Days are very consumed with client calls, reports, bill pays, etc, etc. Nights are filled with conversations, e-mails, etc from clients. This sounds like a total joy to everyone I am sure. Honestly, running your own business is very rewarding, scary at times, but very rewarding.

The problem with this is, we don’t shut off that much. We go and go all day long without placing the brakes on. Even though we do it here, it’s not healthy to do and we would never enforce this on our employees.

If you have a boss who forces break like this or just at the verge of having too much work on your desk. It needs to be changed and brought up at meetings. Not many people are condition and able to go full steam all day. Believe me, it’s not the easiest to a season business owner like myself.

The trick is balancing your time and getting to know where you stand the best you can every day. Work on building to do list which includes a break or two. The breaks allow you to refresh your brain. By slowing down for at least ten minutes to at least a half hour, you can go in more refreshed for the rest of the day.

Refreshing the brain stream is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!!!
