Love The Work

Love it!

A job is a job or so they say. In this economy, everyone is taking any job they can get. The ones who went to college of course try to stay in their field, where the ones from high school go into something they may love or get to just get by.

Lately, I been noticing certain issues with people’s job not “paying enough” or giving the bargaining deals they want. Personally, I understand people need money to survive and want to make the most they can to live a worry free life. Though, complaining about it openly in this economy is honestly kind of silly right now.

To many times, I hear people say their job is horrible, they don’t make enough, etc. My answer to them is a question, “What are you going to do about it?” If you don’t like the pay, the job, or issues that surround it, then it’s time to find a new place of work.

The issue people get caught in most of the time is how much they make and what they should be making. They don’t sit back and really think about how great their job is. Also in this economy to have a job is a great thing and people all around you would take your position in a heartbeat.

When you start getting upset over the drama, money, etc. of your job then your production goes down. Production going down could lead to where you want to be without the current job. The problem there is you finding a new job. Then you have a ton money issues to worry about.

Taking pride in your job is one of the best things you can do for yourselves. Focusing on money issues, is something you can bring up to your boss in the right fashion, but don’t let that be your driving force. To dwell all day and night how much you make is going to drive you insane. Lets face it, we should always be making more because more money makes us happy, right? Wrong, more money is a nice perk but not always a key to happiness.

If you went to college and want a job in that field, you should know the average numbers you will make in the future.  Yes, the economy has changed everyone’s numbers has dropped it was kind of curve ball. The thing to remember is everyone is having it hard right now and not just you. Be happy with the job and don’t make big stinks about it. In the end you just hurt your coworkers and people you help.

Taking pride in what you do is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
