Joys of Family

They are Great!

For those of you who don’t know, I am a big family man. In fact, my wife and I are really close with both sides of our family.  This past week a few moments really hit why family is very important to moving on in this world. From deaths in the family to supporting a family member on events they do, it is key to support.

I know people who are reading this may have issues with siblings, parents, in-laws, etc.  Though in the end, is it worth it to stay mad? Sure, some things are truly unforgivable, but one thing you can’t erase is the fact you’re family.

The thing with family is you should always be there for them and not ignore when they need you. For example, a death in the family is always hard, even if they are a distant aunt.  Also if you have to drive over an hour in the falling snow. Being there is just amazing and your action speaks louder than words. Also the feeling of knowing you did the right thing is nice too.

Supporting your family with words of encouragement or coming down to cheer them on in person, which does more than you will ever know. You have a brother/sister in on a sports team or promoting a certain kind of show, it’s great to be there as moral support. The person that is doing the event truly loves the support and performs better when family is in the room.

Supporting your family is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
