Be a Team Member

There's no I in A-Team

It was called the A-Team and not the I-Team for a reason.  These guys were the best of the best as a unit no one could stop them. Even when all odds looked against them, the A-Team always came through.

The A-Team is your standard example of working as a unit. If you never watch the A-Team, I highly suggest watching some of the old seasons or the new movie, to help grasp the concept.

This four member team each had certain abilities that the other team members didn’t.  They knew the skills of the others and use each skill to the fullest to get the job done. Their was no, I want to do what Face can do because I think I can do it better. No, there was never a I in the A-Team.

To many times companies try to use their employees in position that just doesn’t work for them. Then you have the showboaters who think they can do it all, but take on too much only to fail or annoy others in the process. Finally you have the bus throwers, you know the ones that pass the blame to someone else to make themselves look better.

This is something the manager needs to help control and put out the fire before it starts. When picking your team, work on finding the best in the field, but the one that works better with others is more important. A team doesn’t need to have the best players on the field, but an amazing chemistry to get the right moves down to win. Look at the San Francisco Giants in the MLB last year, all rejects, but they pulled together to become World Series Champions!

Work as a unit in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
