Isms Need to End

Time To End!

You ever noticed that there is far to many Isms out there. Sexism, racism, classism, ageism, etc. Lately, I been seeing the race card, the gender card, and even the age card. People love to scream the stories of them being talked down to and no one will ever truly understand because they aren’t that race, sex, or age. It’s time to place an end on both sides.

The truth is no matter where you go, stereotypes are going to happen. We all hold stereotypes on every group that people are in. In a movie once, a cheesy netflixs B comedy, a guy was taking a female power class with the professor always coming at him for being a man. To make a long story short, this young man got fed up having his word twisted all the time and stated that there is just to many isms in the world and we always have to walk on eggshells trying not to offend.  Time to end them! (he said it better)

The thing we need to do is start putting isms asides and stop walking on egg shells. People need to stop getting offended so easy over simple words that weren’t meant to hurt in the first place. The world at times or well, America seems angry because of the prejudice out there. Not everyone thinks that women, older people, and different color is a second class citizen. Though very quickly a person who doesn’t say a hateful word ever in their life has the words twisted and suddenly under the gun of being a sexist, raciest, etc.

Here’s what I been seeing, if you are a certain group you can use certain words to each out of love. But if the outside group uses those words, they are horrible and noted as an enemy. This goes from colors, gender, etc. Each group of people have words that are just horrible, but we use with other because they show love? How does that sound right? The thing it’s not and it’s time for a change.

This country has become very sensitive in its sub-groups. We need to just all take a breather and not worry anymore about skin, age, race, etc. Just remember we are all one country united and the old ways of thinking is over. Time to grow up America and unit.

Being united is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
