Don’t be a Party Pooper

Why So Serious?

Every party has a pooper, that’s why we invited you. Party Pooper! Party Pooper!

Seems like we always have someone in our day-to-day life that loves to bring people down. The party pooper is not just for parties anymore. Misery loves company and more often than not, misery is making a comeback in full force.

Have you ever noticed at your office the really happy person that just can’t be brought down ever?  In the same office you have polar opposite in another worker. This worker is the party pooper, the one who is trying to crush all the positive vibes out of the office.

Lately, I heard a story about a very positive young girl who was starting at a new office.  This girl or well lady, seems to like everyone and always keeps a very level head. Even though she is new to the office and she gets overwhelmed with new faces plus the work load. Nothing ever seems to fluster this lady one bit. Then comes along the party pooper to try to crush this young girl’s spirit.

Now, why is this party pooper attacking this sweet young co-worker? The answer could be jealous, hate for her own life, and misery loves company.  This is happening far too much against the positive people in the world.  Negative people are getting more and more depressed. They want everyone to suffer the same fate of them. It’s pretty sad to say the least.

The trick is the old saying, “Kill them with kindness.” If they don’t like it, then that is their issue, just don’t let them win. Stay positive and find ways to make it work.  It’s easy to fall into their level and harder to stay positive.  Don’t let the party pooper rain on your parade. Smile big today, find the sunshine in the rain filled clouds, and walk in the park.

Avoiding party pooper is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
