Leaving the Drama at the Door

Leave it

You go to work, class, events, etc. to do what you need to do. This could be making a public appearance, working on major clients, or getting your school work done. No matter what you are do, you need to be focus. Yes, that includes when your out partying with your friends.

No one wants to see or hear your drama, what they want to see is you doing your job or having a good time. Yes, there is a time when you are truly upset and just can’t escape it. Save those times and don’t make it a drama filled event every time you go out.

Lets start off when you are out with your friends.  You go out with your friends to have  a good time and forget your troubles. They do the same and want to hang with you because they enjoy your company. Probably, they don’t want to hear about the drama you hold every single time out. Always bringing up issues by being unhappy is a sure-fire way to see your friend population fall.

Second off, lets discuss bringing drama to work. This is a super big no-no. The saying leave the baggage at home is true.  Yes, we all have issues from the night and morning before. Coming in here and there a little upset okay, but STAY FOCUSED! By bringing drama into work, you are ensuring a lack of production, coworkers annoyed with you, and your boss getting closer at his/her end with you.

There is a time and place for drama just deal with it as it is needed, but don’t always deal with it.  Focusing on drama all the time and bringing it to everyone will hurt every single aspect of your life.  Issues are always going to arise, but don’t let that be your life. You can lose everything you ever cared for, friends, spouse, job, family, etc.

Deal with your issues like a grow up and handle it professionally. Don’t be a child and revert back to high school. Leave the drama at the door and pick it up when you are ready to handle the issue on your own or at the right setting.

Leaving the drama at the door is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
