Working through the Pain

Bring it!

Staying productive can be a hard thing when you’re not feeling well, sore, or a little tired.  It’s never easy to stay focus on what you need to do when you have this filter going on. Believe me, I know the feeling. Just yesterday had some dental work done and worked from the house. Sounds like an unproductive day right, wrong! I got so much done it was scary.

Things that you do when you are sick is to help restore your buddy back to 100%. Most of the times it takes us out completely and we need to just rest. There is never any shame in that, but don’t milk it like some people do.

If you are in a little pain it stinks, but the thing is you have work to do and you need to get it done. Figure out what you can do today when you’re hurting, so you can mark it off your list for tomorrow. Yes, I know you can’t do everything you plan to do, but if you can do something ease yourself into and do the work.

Now sometimes, you truly are bed stricken and can’t move. Also if you are on vacation, take that time of relax, rest, and recharge. Today, what I am stating is if you are capable of doing the work, then get some it done even if you don’t want to. It’s nice to keep on moving and not get totally far behind.

Being productive is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
