Short Weeks

Relax

Happy Memorial Day everybody! Okay, so it’s a day late, but still, Happy Memorial Day! Welcome back to the work week now. I know, three days off is really nice and you don’t want to go back for just four days of work.  Hate to tell you, but it’s time to buckle down and get rolling on your work.

Yes, three days weekends are very nice and very much needed to recharge your battery. Just remember as you return on Tuesday, there is more paper work, client work, etc. needing to be done during this short work.

The trick is to go into work ready to go and focus on getting your work done. Everyone is going to come in and want to talk about the long weekend. This makes sense, because it was a great time to relax. Remember, those are great conversations that you need to listen to, just wait for break or lunch.

Just focus this week, remember the weekend is really close at hand and you are almost halfway there.  Relax, get the work done, and focus on your job. It is very hard, even when the weather is really nice out and all you want to do is go jump in a pool. In time you will get to do that, until then get the work done first.

Staying focus after a three day weekend is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!
