Productive Mornings

Mornings can be very unproductive and you can feel like you are just spinning your wheels till lunch.  We wake up every morning to shower, wake the kids, walk the dogs, get breakfast, make coffee, and then drive for 30 minutes to an hour on a route that is three to five miles. Needless to say, mornings are hard to get started when you finally sit down at your desk/workplace.

Now, how do we have productive mornings? Sounds like what we do in the mornings in a hassle yet productive in all we do. This brings me to the first tip of the day.

Want to start feeling like you are running around like a mad person in the morning, then do one thing. Wake up thirty to sixty minutes earlier then you do now. I know, I know, you don’t want to get out of bed and you want more sleep. Think about it, you want more sleep go to bed earlier and wake up earlier. Trust me, your day will be easier when you aren’t rushing all morning.

Another trick to do is get stuff done before bedtime. Pack the lunches for tomorrow, get the car all ready, pick out your clothes, etc. This way, when morning arrives all you need to do is the small things, like wake the kids, get them ready, walk the dogs, and just relax before the day, because now you are waking up earlier.

The final thing I will share today, though there are a ton more.  Is relax, take it slow and stop rushing. Even if you are behind, please just take the time to slow down before you’re day. Take a second to gather yourself, before you start your work.

You are on the steps to a productive morning, just follow some of these steps and you will find it much easier. Also, share your additions to having a productive morning! Tell us, what you do to stay productive every morning.

Being productive is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
