Ready for the Holiday

Let you're color's burst!!

The clock is ticking down to the fourth of July weekend!! That’s right everyone, we are all about to experience a much needed three day weekend. Myself, I am looking forward to taking a few days off of the grind and normal workday life. Now, with that being said, we all need to remember one little thing, for the next few days, stay focus!

Honestly, we all know that you sit at your office saying, “why can’t the weekend come faster, so I can go out and do this and that.” It’s just what we do, we want to enjoy the holiday with our friends and family. The small break helps reboot our mind and body. This is a true break that we need.

Now, the thing we need to remember today and throughout the week is being focused.  Remember all the work you have piled up to the side of you, next to the computer, yes, that pile. Work on it this week! Do extra this week for a few reason.

Number one, this week is going to drag if you let it and taking breaks to talk with co-workers, spouses, etc. will not make the day go by faster. Doing the work load you have and just focusing mostly on that will get you far ahead for the short week after the holiday and the days will go by faster.

Second, getting ahead will help for next week. Remember it is a short week and you don’t want to be stressed the moment you arrive back on Tuesday.  More work you get done today, the less work you have to get done tomorrow.

Lastly, the main thing is just remember it’s a normal five day week. No matter what is coming on Friday afternoon, after you leave you office, you are still going to work your normal hours. There is no reason to slack or try to just go about your day. With step one and two above, remember them to work through this last step. This way, you can be prepared for this week and the coming week. Honestly, the following week is the hardest to get back into the groove.

Staying focus during holiday weeks are very important in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
