Filling Up the Tank

Turn that E into a F

In these days and times, we are a very on the go society. We are always running around every morning trying to get everything ready to start our day. We never have time to stop and smell the roses on our way to work anymore. The day starts within a minute after you get out of bed, from the very first moment you place your foot on the floor.

The thing is most of us don’t have time to sit down and take a breather, heck we even work through lunch because there is so much to do. The rewarding factor is one day you will be retired and happy right? But then what? After you are so used to running every day, how would you be able to stop. There needs to be some kind of balance now in our lives, so we can relax when retirement hits, right?

That’s true, there is something we need to do every single day and that is take some me time. No matter how many hours your work, kids you have, etc. Find time, even if it’s 11:00 PM at night, to sit down and do something for you. Everyone needs to feel rested to be productive and not groggy in the morning or the rest of the day for that matter.

We need to remember to slow down and enjoy the sights. Yes, work piles up and it never ends, that’s the beauty of your job. Remember to do hard work through the day, but also remember to take a break throughout the day to clear your mind.  Easier said then done I know, but it’s still needed no matter what you say or try to fight it.

You truly can’t stay protective if you’re stressed, tired, and annoyed. Find ways to keep the balance with your sleep schedule and relax schedule. Do things that relieve the stress like working out, running, getting a massage, reading a book, playing a video game, etc. Just enjoy this life and keep your tank mostly filled.

Staying charged is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
