Don’t Let it Pass You By

Can you make it?

In life we are granted with numerous choices, some are amazing, some are horrible, but it’s the choices we make that lead us to where we are today. Sometimes we pass up on really good choices and other times we take the really bad choices. It’s not just when you take them but how you recover or continue to make good choices.

For example, five years ago I was offered a position to help partner in a company. Fresh out of college, didn’t know really what I was doing or wanted, but I said okay. Packed up my stuff and moved down to Lexington, KY to help run a business. If I didn’t take that risk, where would I be today in this economy? Sure it has its ups and downs, but I am glad that was the choice that was taken.

We all have chances like this, a new job offer, love interest, friendship, moving, etc. There is so many sliding doors out there that we can take, but we have to be careful of. For one false door could lead you down the path of pain. Take the time to review your plan and then act on it the best way. Sometime we jump into things to quickly,  but that’s okay as long as it’s a good move. Just don’t be pressured into stuff, sure I may have been pressured into this business, but that worked out okay.

Just remember your life choices, take them as they come and do what you feel is right. Don’t let something beautiful pass you by, because it looks hard or it looks scary. You never know where the sliding doors will open you up to.

Making right decisions is key in this Savage World, that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
