Drop the Fear!!

Scary huh?

We all have fears in our lives that range from rational to irrational. Some of us let these fears control our way of life and thinking. We go out of our way to dodge these fears, instead of facing them head on. It’s time we stop that and face the demon known as fear today!

My first example of an irrational fear that your writer here has never face is clowns. That’s right clowns scare the crap out of me. What do I do when I see them in person or on a movie, go way out of my way to avoid them. It’s a stupid fear that needs to be handle, because when I have kids how am I going to take them to the circus?

That example is the case for every single fear you have. Are you scared that you may lose your job?  Maybe your scared your spouse will leave for another? Or maybe your just scared that people won’t like you? There are ton of other examples, this is just a few of the common fears. Let me tell you this, if you are scared of it, then ask yourself, what are you going to do about it!?

It’s time to put on our big kids pants and face the fear head on! The fear will never leave you, if you shy away from it, because tomorrow it will be there again looking at you, rational or irrational, fear is fear and shouldn’t control your life.

If you let fear rule your choices in life, then you are letting the fear win and hurting your growth in the process. Why allow your fear to do this? Is it because it may hurt if you face it? Well we all feel pain sometime and now it’s time to start scorching through the fire known as fear, only to defeat it.

Worst case when you face your fear is that what you feared was true. Then you know and you can finally move on. Things like clowns and dolls, the irrational fears, need to be faced to, because they hinder us from living a normal life. No more shackles now, drop them and fight the fear, this will hurt, but you can do it!!

Facing your fears is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own.
