Moving On from Tragedy

Move on

Bad things will happen to you in life, you maybe fired from your job, your house maybe robbed, a friend or loved one will pass away, etc. The question is how do we move on when these major tragedies happen to us. How do we go back to the everyday life and move on to feel okay again. Sadly there is no special trick to overcome that gut wrenching pit in your stomach after the sad event happens.

There is advice though that could possibly help you move on. Step one, allow yourself to grieve and accept what just happen to you. Give it a day or two to sink in, but don’t dwell on the issue. Keep your ahead up and move to step two.

Step two is to start moving on with your life and figuring out what you can do to help get the right foot forward. Don’t let the fear of a robbery hold you down or the grief of a loved keep you locked up. Keep that head up and start picking up the pieces.

They say that time heals all wounds and I know after the event happens it just doesn’t seem like it will ever get better. I am here today to tell you, that it will get better and time will truly get heal your wounds. Just keep your head up, clean the mess that was made, and start living your life. If you don’t live your life, then the enemy wins and you loss. Watch the sky and look for the sun, because it is there even if it’s hidden by a rain cloud, trust me it’s there.

Moving on from a tragedy is key in this Savage World; that you aren’t just living in, but beginning to own!
