Around the Corner

Waiting around the BendEveryday we need to go around blind corners, not really expecting what to run into or passed by. These blind corners can sometimes be nothing more than open space or there could be a road block right in your way that you hit.  You can never truly prepare for those curve balls that are thrown at you ever day. There is a reason why they are called blind curves and curve balls.

It’s funny how everyone sees what is waiting around the corner as a bad thing, when honestly it can be a great thing. That’s right, great news can be just around the corner, ready to jump up and smack you in the face. Why think of it as a bad thing when it truly is a good thing. If you expect the worst, chances are you are going to get the worst. If you expect the best, chances are you going to achieve the best.

Around the corner of life is just trying to make you focus on the positive outlooks. Why do people suggest to only see the negative value of everything, it’s an amazing life and everything is so beautiful. Why do we need to be ugly about our future?

Think of it this way, on your way to vacation your car breaks down with both dogs in the car and you need to wait for a ride. Now wait it gets worse, then when you return home to not only a $800 plus car repair bill your house was broken into. Where did your mind just go for around the corner? Was it that next you would get shot or a something bad like that? Or are you like this? “Well, now that all that bad stuff is out-of-the-way, time for some rays of sunshine to hit our door?”

That was a true story that happen and the response those people used was the positive outlook on things. One statement I always agreed with, is it really can’t get worse and things will always get better in time. No need worrying about every little thing that will blind side around that corner.

Bad things and good things will wait for you there, all you can do is be smart, calm, and cool at mind. No need to freak out and always expect the worst. For every bad thing that happens, you learn an amazing amount of knowledge. Take that knowledge to learn and grow. Embrace that corner and get ready for the world!

Enjoying the surprises in life is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer living in, but beginning to own!!
