In A Blink

Everything changes

In a blink of an eye your whole world can change. Due to the events yesterday August 23, 2011, this little blogger got hit with some ideas. If you are unaware of the events in the world yesterday, there were two major earthquakes and the Rebels of Libya took Tripoli. Now the events in Libya are different then the quakes, as you can see that coming, where as the earthquakes came without warning.

Today, I want to focus on the earthquakes and what they stand for. Every day we go about our lives like it is always the same, nothing major seems to really change from day-to-day, until it happens. One day you are driving to work and BOOM something major happens, your family member is in a car wreck, you loss your job, so on and so on. How do you respond to this? How can it be okay?

Yes, this is what we talked about the other day with the blind corners and how it can affect your day-to-day. Yesterday when the quake hit all I could think and worry about was my family on the east coast. It could have been a giant issue. Lucky for me everyone I know and care for wasn’t affected to badly by the quakes.

The thing is when issue like this strike how can you keep your cool and just focus on the task at hand? These issue can change your lives forever, if the bomb is dropped and we are then forced to adapt to a new way of life. This is the key factor today in this lesson, its knowing how to adapt. If you do not know how to adapt then you will be swallowed by the changes around you. Just because you don’t always see the changes coming, they are always on the way.

Remember to just go with the times by staying true to yourself. Changes are always going to happen and you have to just go with it. You can’t focus on how your life should be or why isn’t it like that. Just focus on making the changes you need to get where you want to be.

Going with the flow is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
