Slow Your Roll

Slow it down

That’s right everyone, slow down for a second, stop rushing what you need to have done. In this recent world of life in the fast lane, we are really begin to hurt ourselves rather than help ourselves. To many times I see quantity over quality instead of the other way around.

As a consumer and a business owner, I would rather have less of a good thing then more of a unfinished things.  People who rush usually cut corners, don’t fully complete the task, and give you a product or service that just doesn’t work.

If you are a boss and are pushing your employees to move faster, make the product faster, sell the service faster, etc. Do you truly think that the job will get done well? If you do, then you need to step back and take another look.  If you rush everything chances are you will do a pretty crappy job, now because of this crappy job your customers will be upset and may not return. Just because you wanted it done and you wanted it done now!

Now if you step back and have it done with great time management, not to slow, not to fast, then you are on the right pace. This gives you the chance to review what you have, what you are selling, and everything you are giving to your clients. If you show the clients you want to give the best product/service then they in turn will continue to come back and use your company. Also they will continue to spread the word about you.

Today, people are quick on many things, arguing, production, and being the first done. Remember life is not a race, business can be a race at times, but the far better product wins in the end. Relax a little, don’t rush your time, and use amazing time management.

Learning to slow down  a bit is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
