Don’t Fake It

The term “Don’t fake it” is true in this world. Many of times you see a lot of people just going through and faking it. They pretend to be or do something they can’t/aren’t. It’s time to stop the fake and be yourself.

You ever notice when you’re at a wedding,  celebration at work, etc. how people respond? There people who truly look happy, with the big grin, eyes crinkled, and truly show the emotion of joy. Where other people have this big grin on their face, but zero emotion in their actual facial expression and eyes telling they are truly happy. Have you ever notice that?

Sure you have, because normally we can tell if someone is faking the smile or not. By the look of how a natural smile looks, compare to a fake one. The emotions we then receive if it is face is a negative response. As the person who thinks they are being nice placing a fake smile on, really is causing more pain to all involved.

This also goes for work and everyday life. If you fake your work, family issues/events, friends, etc. Chances are people notice and will take note on how fake you are.  If you fake it, people will soon see you as a negative and not a positive. There is a trick though on how to avoid it.

The trick is easy, be yourself, be real and never fake it. Show you’re real emotion and allow yourself to be open. Don’t fake being someone you aren’t, just be you. If people don’t like that, their problem not yours. Embrace who you are and others around you will do the same. This will raise your positive attitude and become more likable.

Just being you is key in this Savage World, that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
