Back Against the Wall

And good this will come

In spirit of the MLB playoffs that are going on right now with three of the four series tied 2-2, figure this would be a fitting topic today. Like in baseball, you can be down 0-3, on the verge of being elimination from the playoffs, with no sign of hope.. Then one crack of the bat, a small single that sparks an onslaught of runs to allow you to win at least one game. Next another great game to bring it up to a 2-3 record. Still the whole time on the verge of losing your season, until finally you tie the series 3-3 to force a winner take all game seven. Now it’s really the line and anyone can win it.

Life can be like this at times, where you get down and out, looking like it’s the end of the line for you. There seems to be zero hope or faith in the air that you will succeed. Until that one day, one little tiny thing happens. You may not notice it, but this little tiny spark builds up and up until it’s beaming with light that you can not deny!

That’s the joy of life, you can be back against the wall, but if you want it bad enough you can fight through the darkness to find the light. Yes, there is light at the end of every tunnel, no matter how dark and hopeless it seems. Never, ever lose your faith and hope that things will get better, because they will.

For example the 2004 Red Sox were on the main stage of the faith in themselves to come back and win it all. My life is another private example of things looking at the worst, only to pull myself back from the depths to make something beautiful. The reason, because I always believed in myself and that good things will come if I continue to hold that positive outlook.

Just remember to be positive though it looks dark. Smile when no one is looking. Get ready for the new dawn, because it is coming!

Keeping the faith is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
