Handling Change

Which way?

Change is something that happens everyday in our world. Sometimes change is small, sometimes it’s a life changing event. It can be a great thing or a great lose, either way, change is a very dependable word. The question today is how do you handle change? Do you dig your feet in the ground and refuse to move, or do you go with the tide and change with the times?

Digging your feet in the ground, isn’t a bad thing, it means you want to hold onto what you have and not lose it. Sometimes, though it is best to just let it go, where other times it is worth fighting for. Only you can judge if the bad change is worth fighting for or letting it sail away.

Going with the flow of change is a good thing too, you can move easily with the tide. It’s a great little trick to just go with it and not worry too much about it, because you know it is going to happen in time. Just don’t go with the flow too much, because you may want to stand up for what you are losing or gaining.

Remember change happens for better or worse it happens all the time, in every household. It can be really hard on you mentally and emotionally.  Just understand change is usually for the better.

For example, you are moving to a new location with the fear of being alone and starting over. You are leaving friends and family members behind that you may or may not see again. That fear is highly in you and you don’t know what to do. It’s okay, everything will work to how it needs to. You will have a place, you will meet new people, your family will visit, and it will be okay.

Just understand it takes time to for everything to come together, not many things come together over night. Just relax and enjoy the change, see what comes of it. Remember one door closes, another one opens.

Handling change is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
