Coming Together

No matter who you are in life, how great you think you are, or how alone you think you are. There comes a time when you need a helping hand, and there isn’t any shame in asking for a hand to pull you up.  In life you have many outlets if you allow them to be around, you have friends, family, spouses, etc. All there to help you in time of need, like you should be in their time of need.

Bad things will happen just as great things will happen. Sometimes when it gets rough you feel lost and just need a friend to grab your hand to pull you out of the quicksand.  Not asking for help when needed because of your pride, is truly wasteful, pride can get you many things in life, including being alone.

Notice the people around you. Wonder why some of them are so successful? One hint, they help out their friends and family when needed and usually aren’t to proud to as for that helping hand when something bad happens to them. People will want to help you if you help them. By helping people they are seen as someone to count on, this brings more success.

It’s all about coming together in this world now. The Lone Wolf sounded “cool” in high school, but whatever happen to that mysterious lone wolf guy? Sitting alone now somewhere with no one to help even if he screams out for it.

In essence on today’s topic, it’s all about coming together. Don’t deny the friend’s hand who wants to see you, have lunch, etc. Because what they might really trying to tell that they need you and need a good friend to talk to. It could be even that small, just need to feel like they are cared for. A small dinner, which is like an hour out of your life to go to a friend who may or may not be in need.

You just never know when you will need that friend you denied that hand to. They maybe the best thing in your world, but because you were too cool or busy to help out they decided not to come around anymore. In the end, friends, family members, etc. help each other and usually the need is returned. It’s all about coming together as a unit in the end.

Coming together is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
