Holidays and Work

Wow the holidays are here and in full effect right now. Can you feel the holiday cheer all around? Everyone is out buying gifts, decorating the houses, putting up trees and getting them ready for the big day. It’s such a pretty time of year for any faith and it’s just going to continue to be that way. The question is how do we stay focused at work with all this going on.

One major trick is to see what you have in front of you at your desk and work on it. Write down a list of what you need to do today for work and to get ready for the holidays. Focus on what you can at work, try not to let the little stuff distract, because the big stuff will. Like holiday parties in the office or people sharing gifts with you.

Don’t feel so pressured this time of the year with your work, trust me most of the world is trying to finish the year also. Everyone knows this is a slow work month a lot of times, esp in business to business sales. If you a teacher, this is a hard time because not only do you have to stay focus, but your students have to also. Trying to do some stuff that will make them focus the energy on you and for yourself to do the same. This way you can make that clock tick faster, by doing something exciting for your job.

Outside your work the holiday is full effect and inside the office it is still the same old stuff. Remember work still needs to be done, but the days are going to be long if you don’t make them exciting. Try to stay busy and don’t ignore coworkers who want to say happy holidays by sharing gifts.

Just relax, you can make it through till the end of the year. Remember this is the best time of year, just enjoy it and focus on the work at hand. The fun stuff will come soon.

Staying focus on times of fun is key in this Savage World, that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
