Holiday Spirit

That Cat Sure Has It!!

Last night when I was driving around town doing some Christmas shopping this strange little thing happen. As I pulled into Meijer’s to grab some shipping supplies, this little BMW pulled in behind me very quickly. As I got out of the car, the one lady stated, “We have been following me to have a quick word.” Now at this point, I was wondering what was going on and kind of worried. Then she said, “We followed you because of your Kia Soul has the Holiday Spirit!” (The car has antlers and red nose on it).  They wanted to film the car, talk with me for a moment, and offered over two lottery tickets and a free Cinnabon for me to enjoy.

It was truly an amazing, random thing that only seems to happen around this time of the year. Just gave me the biggest smile as I was walking into Meijer’s. True, they may have been promoting their company and trying to look great, but still it was the thought that count. The smiles on their faces meant that it was something they truly enjoyed doing and for that I was impressed.

The meaning of this little story today is the little things you do, the little things you do really shape the world. No small action goes unnoticed by the world, sure it may seem like it.

Today, reach out to a stranger, tell them that their car looks amazing or their earnings are beautiful and festive. Do this not for your own gain, but to just be a good person. Watch the response.

This world is beautiful, the people in it are amazing if you let them be. Sure there are bitter people out there, but mostly we are all just trying to live a good life. We can help each other by doing the small things in the world. Holding a door open, saying something nice, and just being a good person all around.

Today, get into the holiday spirit and play it forward. Do something that you wouldn’t normally do. Pay for the person behind you dry cleaning or cup of coffee. Doesn’t have to be something big, that small little thing can be just what that person needs.

Spreading the holiday spirit is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!

I’m so glad it made you smile! We are capturing random acts all over the country. Some are with our company’s products, but many are not … We live for that ripple of kindness, and while we certainly hope people connect that to the type of people and brand that we are, the fulfillment comes in the moment of giving. Everything else is just frosting on the ‘Bon! Pass it on & Happy Holidays!!

  2. Hello! I was the crazy driver of the BMW and this blog post made MY day. Hope you’re having an awesome New Year and maybe I’ll see you around town although I may not recognize you without the antlers ; )
