Starting the Year off Right

Here we are in the year 2012 and for some this is a year of hope and for others they see this year as the “end of the world.” Whichever category you fall in, it’s time to focus on making this the best year to date! Sure the world may end according to soothsayers and doomsday fans, but honestly don’t focus on that. Today, lets talk about how to make 2012 amazing.

It’s a new year, it’s time to start it off with a bang. The first way to do this is think positive. All that negative thoughts you had last year, it’s time to ditch it in the trash. It’s time to wake up and scream, “THIS IS MY YEAR!!!” Now don’t just say it, but do it! Get out there make the positive changes and make it your year.

How do we do the changes you ask? Easy, just think about what you want to do, set the goal and do it. Say you want to go on a cruise to see more of the world. Set a timeline, save the money, and do it! You want to lose weight, then set a timeline, a goal weight, start working out and eating right to fit that goal. Those are just a few examples, but you can do a bunch of goals for the year to make it yours!

These are just a few examples of what people want to do throughout the year to make themselves better. The trick is to not just say it to the world, but to do it. You can talk about what you want to change and how you want to change, but if you never make that first step you will never change.

The hardest part is taking the first step and the second hardest part is not giving up after a week. Remember to keep focus and keep going. Don’t get sidetracked by pretty shining lights, instead focus on the goals you want.

As you achieve goals throughout the year watch what changes, you will be surprise. As one goal is complete new doors open up quickly. It’s amazing how one little thing can lead to a whole new amazing world.

Starting every year off right is key in this Savage World; that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
