Holiday Monday

Comfy

Well, to most of America it’s an off day and here I sit in my office alone, looking to get a head today. Now, I could be home sleeping in, enjoying a three day week, but instead it just felt right going into the office today. My client list is pretty full and just after an recharging weekend, I am ready to take on the week. So what does this have to do with today’s blog and what am I going to discuss today? Well read down and find out.

Today’s lets start about how to handle a day you go into work and it seems like the rest of the world is off. Is this going to be the most productive day in the year? Well, it can be? Some treat days like this as a, “Yea everyone else is off so I will do everything at half speed, cause it’s okay.” Wrong answer on that, the trick to working a holiday is to just treat it like every other day.

When you are in on a day like today, take advantage of it! Get a head in work and take the time to do it right. Sometimes it doesn’t seem fair that you are there during a holiday like President’s day and everyone is off having fun. Chances are you aren’t the only one working on this day. Just treat it like every other day and you will be okay, I promise.

Taking advantages of workday holidays is key in this Savage World, that you are no longer just living in, but beginning to own!
